Celebrating 21 Years of Candor Care

Since 2004, Candor Care has proudly supported thousands of individuals in regaining independence within their homes and in December 2025, the family-run business celebrated an incredible milestone, 21 years of service.

What began as a small company supplying and installing stairlifts has grown into a trusted provider of a wide range of mobility and accessibility solutions, including overhead track hoists, homelifts, access ramps, accessible bathrooms, and changing tables.

Marking 21 years called for a month of celebrations! From a staff get-together with a quiz, prize-giving, and team meal, to raising donations for the Coalville Trussell Trust Food Bank. The team came together to donate over 40kg of food toiletries and gifts, to help local families during the festive period.

Ailish Davies, Marketing Coordinator, shared: “Supporting the local area has always been at the heart of what we do. We know how fortunate we are to be in a position to help, and Christmas is a reminder of just how important and appreciated these donations can be.”

This commitment to community support remains a key part of Candor Care’s identity. Alan Ferguson, Founder and Managing Director, reflected on the journey so far: “Our mission is to make homes across the East Midlands and beyond more accessible and comfortable, allowing individuals to feel confident and independent in their own homes. Over the past 21 years that mission hasn’t changed, it has grown stronger as we work to help as many people as possible stay independent.”

He continued: “We are proud to offer a personal experience like no other. We understand the importance of choosing equipment that directly affects how you move around your own home. We have never been pushy salespeople, that’s simply not who we are. Instead, we provide tailored, honest advice to empower customers to make the decision that’s right for them.”

Alan also paid tribute to the team behind the success: “To see how much we’ve evolved in 21 years is paramount to the hard work and dedication of our small team.
